How the layers stack
A city address sits inside six overlapping maps
- One of six city wards, which sets your constable and magisterial district judge.
- One of the three county council districts that reach into the city: the 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
- One state house district: the 1st covers Wards 1–4 and 6; the 2nd covers Ward 5.
- The 49th state senate district, which covers the whole city.
- The 16th congressional district, which covers all of Erie County.
- The Erie City School District, which matches the city line exactly.
